Had a busy day today even though I had it off work. It was filled with some pre birthday activities – had a massage, swim, sauna and jacuzzi at a spa followed by lunch. I then went back into work for a mini celebration involving cake to say goodbye to my best friend who is off on maternity leave for 9 months 🙁

Then some food shopping for the party tomorrow – including some pretty cupcakes that are going on a vintage cupcake stand.

Had some early presents yesterday from my friends – including a great button blouse/top from Topshop. I wore it today with a floral skirt, new chunky knit cardi and knee high socks with button detail.

I also wore another of my favourite vintage pieces. I found it at a boot sale and is my most prized piece of jewellery. It is a 1960/70’s Gold filigree clock pendant with tassle detail and it has the most amazing intricate pattern on it.
