I am totally one of those people that buys palettes because of how pretty they are but I have to admit the Too Faced and Kat Von D Better Together Palette has more going for it than just being super pretty. Firstly the palette comes with a full size Better than Sex mascara which is hands down one of the best I’ve ever tried and you can read my full review here. It also contains a full size Kat Von D Tattoo eyeliner which I have been so excited to try out. 
The palette is heart shaped and splits into two halves; the pink Too Faced side and the black Kat Von D side. Both halves are so prettily embossed with the design running around the outside too. Inside the Two Faced side you’ll find six eyeshadows, two matte and four metallic. In the Kat Von D side there are also six shadows with three of each type. They all have incredible pigmentation and blend really well.

My favourite has to be the Too Faced side of the palette, I love the shimmer gold shades and found it really easy to create a simple golden smoky eye. The Kat Von D side is a tad more daunting as the black, red and white are pretty bold colours. I blended some of the red Swoon colour to create a warm smoky eye but I’d love to know more looks I could create with this side of the palette.

I love the Too Faced and Kat Von D Better Together palette though. I especially love that the two halves click together by magnets so can easily split and pop one side into your makeup bag. The design really is incredible and the fact that these two brands have collaborated is reason enough to buy it to be honest.

Plus the Kat Von D Tattoo liner is INCREDIBLE! Hands down the best liquid liner pen I’ve ever used. Its deep black and has the loveliest flexible tip which means I found it really easy to create thin and thick lines and a winged end. I’ll definitely be repurchasing this.
