So many of you loved my Painted Pumpkin post so much that I’m back with another big DIY post. This is the final post in my #7DaysOfChristmas and you can read all the other Christmas posts here. So if you fancy getting a bit crafty and pimping up your baubles, then here are 8 DIY Christmas Bauble designs that you can try right now on your existing Christmas decorations to give them a festive makeover!
I used some plain white baubles from B&Q as well as some of my Next baubles. Plus my gorge tree is the silver pine from Next too 😉

MARBLED CHRISTMAS BAUBLES


STEP ONE
Fill a container with water deep enough to submerge the baubles.
Pour in your chosen nail polish colours for marble I used grey, black metallic and silver.

STEP TWO
Swirl the colours gently using a stick.
Attach your bauble to a stick

STEP THREE
Dip the bauble into the water turning it to get the nail polish to stick all over.
Hang up to dry.



WOOL WRAPPED CHRISTMAS BAUBLES


STEP ONE
Choose a plain bauble and type of wool.
You’ll also need a glue gun.

STEP TWO
Start at the top and apply glue the bauble and stick down the end of the wool.
Start to wrap round the bauble gluing a small line at a time.

STEP THREE
Wrap and glue around the bauble till you reach the bottom.
Snip off the end and glue down.


GOLD GLITTER CHRISTMAS BAUBLES


STEP ONE
Using washi or masking tape, tape your design out.

STEP TWO
Paint with gold paint.
Whilst still wet sprinkle with glitter.

STEP THREE
Once dry peel off the masking tape.
Clean up edges by scraping off paint with knife.




POM POM CHRISTMAS BAUBLES


STEP ONE
Using glue gun apply a dot of glue and press on multi coloured pom poms

STEP TWO
Alternate the placement and colours of poms poms

STEP THREE
Glue poms poms on till there are no gaps left.

BLACK & WHITE CHRISTMAS BAUBLES




STEP ONE
These are the simplest to make. Use a plain bauble and draw your design on using a sharpie marker.

FEATHER CHRISTMAS BAUBLES


STEP ONE
Chop down craft feathers to shorter length.
Start glueing them around the bauble starting half way down.

STEP TWO
Then glue a row of feathers above with ends tucked into bauble cap.

STEP THREE
Finish off top and hide feather ends by gluing pearl or jewels around the cap.

CHALKBOARD CHRISTMAS BAUBLES


STEP ONE
Paint plain baubles with matte black paint.
I used a tester pot.

STEP TWO
Hang them up to dry
Apply a second coat if needed.

STEP THREE
Draw your design using a white chalk pen or white paint.
( I couldn’t find mine so used a grout pen!!)


FILLED CHRISTMAS BAUBLES


STEP ONE
Use any empty bauble you have from gifts etc
Fill with your chosen item I used gold painted leaves.

STEP TWO
Sprinkle inside some glitter.
Close the bauble up.

STEP THREE
Shake to distribute the glitter.
Add ribbon to match the contents.
