I used to aspire to owning a Michael Kors Designer handbag, I’m very lucky now to own one so these days you’re much more likely to find me lusting after a Chanel bag. I don’t know if this is because of the increase in bloggers buying Chanel and Chloe all over my twitter and instagram feed but for some reason I now covet a much higher end kinda handbag. I’ll be honest though, although I might dream of owning a bag by one of these designers I don’t know if I could actually bring myself to spend this much money on one.
So that’s why this week I purchased a gorgeous Rebecca Minkoff black leather Love bag. It’s the perfect cheaper alternative to the Chanel Boy bag and although it cost £200 its a snip compared to £3000.
But of course its all about choices and what each individual wants to spend but it got me thinking and so I thought I’d share my picks of the best looking bags from designer to High Street and the kinda bags I’d buy, the bags I’d save for and of course the bags I dream about! You’ll no doubt spot Chloe and Chanel in my choices but also mid range designers such as my fave Rebecca Minkoff and Michael Kors and for the purse friendly choices good old ASOS and Topshop. I hope you like my picks.
Click on any of the images to get straight to the item – except the gorgeous Zara bag which is here.
Let me know what kind of designer handbag you’re coveting and I’d love to know if you prefer to save or spend?
