Its taken me too long to get the photos of this beautiful River Island kimono up. I wore it a couple of weeks ago for a family party and it really is very pretty. I love the intricate beading and the scallop edging, plus the mushroom colour gives the whole thing a kind of vintage feel. I’m so glad I bought it when I visited the River Island Style Studio. I have a post coming all about my experience there so pop back to read that. The kimono was expensive BUT as it happens River Island have 20% off EVERYTHING today!! I have already purchased a pair of white culottes which I had bought earlier in the week but needed a smaller size so I’m very happy to get them a bit cheaper. This morning I dived into London very early for a Private viewing and talk at the V&A Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty exhibition. It was truly a spectacle and I thoroughly recommend it if you haven’t been.
I’m heading to London again next week for Primark’s Press Day which I always love to do. I love seeing whats coming up. Did you catch my Denim Dress & Stripes post featuring pretty much head to toe Primark – if not have a read. My little dog Eddie even makes an appearance.
