I love a good project. I bought this handbag at a bootsale a few weeks ago for £3 and have cleaned it up, fixed the hinges and restored it as best I could. 

Its so beautiful and is a 1960’s Pearlescent and Lucite handbag. The bag is beaded both sides and has a pearl trim round the edges and a gorgeous Lucite handle.

The bag has since got me so interested in Lucite handbags that Ivhave googled them endlessly. They are so beautiful and intricate, I had no idea Vintage bags of this type existed.
